For those who find Palindrome Day a bit more interesting than Superbowl Sunday, here is some alternative programming that we think you might enjoy today!
What’s interesting about Steven’s Alexa skill is that we’ll all have to wait another 101 years until 12/12/2121 to hear another “yes” from Alexa when it is asked if today is a palindrome. Can you imagine what Alexa will be like then? After watching the Alexa Superbowl commercial yesterday, I think a hundred years from now they’ll laugh at the ridiculously large doorstops we had to use to get sound and information:

Starting March 4th, some of voice’s top experts will start a 6-week online course to give 15 people the “foundational knowledge they need to develop an actionable strategic approach to integrating Voice.”. This is fantastic and I think going to be a hugely valuable skill as VUIs become an integral interface between companies and their customers. Hat’s off to James, Jen, Susan, Scot, Kane, and Suze for having the foresight to address what is a scarce (and desperately needed!) resource.

Related: Voicebot also reported earlier in the week Apple will start selling HomePod’s in India as well.
Something else to watch for three hours today
The kind folks over Modev posted the entire Voice Live @ CES talks on YouTube. Having sat through most of them, this is a treasure trove of voice knowledge to get into today. Great stuff in particular from Google and Willowtree in here. So grab some nachos and your beverage of choice and enjoy!
